Establishment of the Société d’entreprises Africaines (SEA) on the 15th December by the current chairman’s father. |

Takeover of the Compagnie de navigation et transports Congo-Oubangui. |
| 1953 |
Merger with the company Le materiel Colonial to create the Société d’équipement pour l’Afrique (SEA). This new company, via its regional offices in Mauritania, Senegal, Guinea, Mali, Niger, Ivory Coast, Upper Volta, Cameroon, Gabon and Congo, is an exclusive agent for international leading manufacturers such as Mercedes Benz, Atlas Copco, Nissan Motors. |
| 1979 |
Transfer of headquarters from Libreville to Luxembourg where the company is listed on the Stock Exchange. |
| 1986 |
New name: Société d’équipement général – SEG with a new focus on the promising continent of Asia. Since 1990, the group’s activities have concentrated on the ASEAN region in the following developing sectors:
